Flat Roman Shades: Designer Inspiration From Brett Nicole Interiors

Flat Roman Shades: Designer Inspiration From Brett Nicole Interiors

At Alva, it’s no secret that we swoon over spa-like bathrooms that max out on style, but one of our favorite Dallas Interior Designer’s recently pulled it off with flair. There’s something so serene about the monochromatic color scheme, practically evoking that favorite of bath time adjectives “squeaky clean.” So when Brett, from Brett Nicole Interiors, called in to discuss her newest home renovation project, you wouldn’t be surprised we jumped at the opportunity.

The only thing Brett specified was that she wanted something that was going to flood the room with light, and augment the clean lines of her vertical brick tiles. The rest of the project was a blank slate.

Following Brett’s one request, our team worked with her on a Flat Roman Shade, using our 100% Belgian Linen, for a bright and breezy feel.

Brett Says:
“Window treatments both soften and complete a space — they are one of the anchoring elements that add polish, texture and often times a lovely filtered light.”

Beyond aesthetics, Custom Roman Shades are an energy-efficient option when you have a modest amount of surface area. They are perfect whether you want to keep the heat in and out. If you choose right, you can have a simple and stylish window treatment perfect for all seasons, no matter which side of the country you reside.

No matter what window treatments you decide is right for your bathroom, we’re here to help — our team of stylists are here to ensure you have a bathroom that looks as good as you do.
